As a Solutions Engineer (SE), you will be an integral part of defining our success at Wallarm and will play a key role in building the foundation of a world-class sales organization.

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join our global team, with a focus on IT systems administration, automation, and high-level end-user support. This role demands deep expertise in Atlassian Jira/Confluence administration and automation, Google Workspace for Identity and Access Management (IAM), and automation of enterprise SaaS platforms like Salesforce.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, skilled in streamlining IT operations, improving security and compliance, and enhancing employee productivity through automation and efficient support models.

Key responsibilities:

Atlassian (Jira & Confluence) Administration & Automation:

  • Administer and optimize Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence environments.

  • Design advanced workflows, permission schemes, custom fields, and automation to drive process efficiencies.

  • Manage add-ons and integrations within the Atlassian ecosystem.

Enterprise Systems Automation:

  • Build automation for Google Workspace (IDM/IAM), Salesforce, and other enterprise SaaS platforms.

  • Use tools like Google Apps Script, APIs, Zapier, Workato, etc. to integrate and automate repetitive IT tasks.

  • Develop robust provisioning and deprovisioning workflows ensuring security and compliance.

Identity & Access Management (IAM):

  • Lead IAM policies using Google Workspace as the identity provider.

  • Implement SSO, MFA, group-based access, and lifecycle management best practices.

  • Monitor and continuously improve access controls and auditing across systems.

Mobile Device Management (MDM):

  • Deploy and manage MDM solutions like Kandji, Jamf, or Microsoft Intune for Mac, Windows, and mobile devices.

  • Ensure devices comply with corporate security policies and are properly configured.

Outsourced Provider Management:

  • Manage outsourced IT service providers, ensuring delivery against SLAs and escalation protocols.

  • Oversee the relationship, governance, and performance of vendors providing helpdesk and other IT services.

Senior-Level Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Serve as Tier 23 escalation point for complex support issues across hardware, software, networking, and SaaS.

  • Troubleshoot across MacOS, Windows, ChromeOS, and Google Workspace environments.

  • Create documentation, guides, and self-service resources to empower users.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve automated onboarding and offboarding workflows for employees, contractors, and vendors.

  • Coordinate provisioning of accounts, devices, software, and access to internal systems like Google Workspace, Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and other SaaS platforms.

  • Ensure offboarding workflows immediately revoke access to systems, devices, and data, and comply with security policies and audit requirements.

  • Collaborate with People/HR teams to align IT onboarding with broader employee experience goals.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of the onboarding/offboarding processes and update them as tools and policies evolve.

  • Monitor access logs and device returns to ensure secure deprovisioning and asset recovery.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or enterprise IT support.

  • Proven expertise in Jira/Confluence administration and automation.

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace IDM/IAM, SSO, and MFA configurations.

  • Experience with automation of enterprise systems such as Salesforce.

  • Strong MDM experience with Kandji, Jamf, or Intune.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and govern outsourced IT support providers.

  • Strong troubleshooting and support skills across OS, hardware, and SaaS platforms.

  • Scripting experience (Apps Script, Python, Bash) preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written English.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SOC2, ISO27001, or similar compliance frameworks.

  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture.

  • Salesforce admin experience.

  • Experience in fast-paced, scaling environments.
