Senior Lead Mobility Engineer

  • The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer who will provide technical leadership on major Wireless initiatives and establish goals and plans that meet program/project objectives.

  • The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer will plan and lead major technology assignments, evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term projectgrowth and success.

  • The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer will function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.

  • This position performs systems engineering throughout the entire system life cycle to support data center modernization.

  • Develops understanding of customer’s organization, goals, business needs, and enterprise mobile architectures and systems. Establishes system development and integration methodologies and standards such as the ELCM.

  • Develops system architectures that adhere to the Enterprise Mobile Architecture. Developsuser requirements and ensures that business solutions are consistent with client strategic goals and investment decisions.

  • Employs best practice processes in the design, development, integration, and implementation of mobile systems. Applies business process improvement practices to reengineer business processes, principles, and methodologies.

  • Implements state-of-the-practice mobile technology in the client environment, using leading-edge approaches, concepts, and ideas. Researches and evaluates mobile system designs to select appropriate technology and ensure efficient use of resources.

  • The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer will be expected to supervise others.

  • The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer is required to be onsite at government building in downtown Washington, DC three (3) days per week.

  • The proposed Senior Lead Mobility Engineer shall:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant discipline or related field

  • Have a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor

  • Possess a base-level certification, such as A+, Security+, or Network+

  • Possess a Core certification within their functional area, such as VMware Certified Specialist - Workspace ONE 21.X Advanced Integration
