ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Merchandising Strategy to play a pivotal role in shaping the long-term direction of our merchandising organization. Reporting to the VP, Buying and Private Brands, this individual will partner closely with merchandising leadership and the broader executive team to develop and execute long-range plans, provide key insights through research and analysis, and ensure alignment across the organization.

Partner with Merchandising leadership to develop and execute long-range plans, leveraging research, analysis, and clear and compelling presentations.
Serve as the primary point person for total merchandising recurring internal meetings, including Monthly Business Reviews and All Hands Meetings with the Executive Leadership Team.
Support the creation of merchandising-specific board materials as needed.
Collaborate with merchandising leadership and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives such as:
- Brand Pitch deck development
- Vendor partnership agreement evolution
- Sourcing and speed-to-market strategies
- Brand and vendor matrix strategy
- Additional high-impact merchandising initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships across merchandising, marketing, finance, strategy, and other key business functions to drive strategic initiatives forward.
Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to enhance merchandising performance and growth.
Manage and support key strategic initiatives, ensuring clear deliverables, timelines, and outcomes.
Assist in identifying gaps or inefficiencies in current processes and recommend actionable improvements.
Develop tools, processes, and ways of working that help teams deliver impactful results.
Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations to improve project outcomes and inform decision-making.

- You have 7+ years of combined experience in consulting and operating roles at vertical or multi-brand retail organizations.
- MBA or equivalent graduate business degree is preferred
- You’ve worked side-by-side with C-level and VP stakeholders, shaping strategy and helping teams navigate ambiguity with confidence.
- You are skilled at managing initiatives from start to finish, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- You excel at building great partnerships and working collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals.
- You are an analytical thinker who can distill complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- You are adaptable and thrive in a dynamic remote environment, balancing competing priorities while maintaining focus on long-term goals.
- You are an excellent communicator, able to tailor messages to different audiences and create visually compelling outputs.

Compensation and Benefits
This role will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and equity. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, location, and performance.This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. Salary Range
$148,200—$218,000 USD
