Job Description
As a Sr. Manager of Supply Planning, you will be responsible for the development and execution of supply plans to meet demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Working closely with the Planning team and other key stakeholders, including the VPs of Operations, EVP of Products and CFO, you will build a high-performing supply planning process that aligns with overall business objectives for our Machines, Extensions and C&A categories.
- You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- You will collaborate with the supplier management teams to establish efficient production schedules that balance demand requirements, capacity constraints, and resource availability, as well as identifying and resolving potential inventory shortages and excess.
- You will cultivate strong relationships with our suppliers monitoring KPIs, understanding their constraints and bottle necks and be an active participant in their QBR’s.
- You will develop inventory strategies and align the supply plan with production schedules on existing portfolio, new products and product phase-outs.
- You will analyze data to derive meaningful insights and make informed decisions that optimize the supply chain performance.
- You will have significant autonomy in the role and will be expected to continually drive for improvement and automation in our end-to-end planning methods, processes and tools. Helping to drive innovation, data insights and sharing best practice with the broader organization.
We expect you to build strong cross-functional relationships across Operations, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Product Development, and Executive team.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone who fills a dual role of a communicator and storyteller to the executive team as well as highly analytical and loves numbers.
In terms of qualifications for the position, we are seeking among the following:
- Degree or higher in an analytical discipline (supply chain, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, data science, etc.)
- 8+ years proven experience in supply planning or similar role within supply chain management.
- Experience in ERP, MRP and capacity planning required.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to aggregate and present Supply Chain information to non-Supply Chain stakeholders in a meaningful way.
- Data visualization experience (Tableau/Domo/Qlik/etc.) preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Be a self-starter that acts like an owner by seeking to learn/understand the business, actively pursuing opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Additional Information
You will work remotely from anywhere in Europe, though we are initially targeting the Netherlands. It is important that you will be able to have regular calls with product managers in the United States as well as manufacturing and suppliers in Malaysia.
