Senior PM/Product Manager (PLG & Developer Experience)

This role is responsible for helping evolve and execute on SingleStore’s vision, which is to be the only unified data platform with the performance customers need for Enterprise AI. You will work closely with prospects, customers, product, engineering, sales, and marketing to drive one of the most high-profile initiatives at SingleStore – PLG and Developer Experience.
This role’s scope includes activation, adoption, monetization, and features like data loading, SQL editor, and notebooks. Of course, we can’t write a job description in 2025 without mentioning AI as a responsibility. In the next two years, one of your key responsibilities is to ensure that when new users sign up, they experience “The Performance You Need for Enterprise AI.”
You will report to our Director of Product Management of Growth and have visibility into the CEO.
Role and Responsibilities
- Grow revenue with a particular focus on our free trial
- Identifying and solving key friction points in our self-serve journey to improve conversion and expansion.
- Defining hypotheses for those friction points and validating that they meet our prospect and customer needs through experimentation
- Optimizing levers (e.g., onboarding, activation, monetization, and engagement) through data-driven experimentation
- Measuring, learning, and iterating based on key growth metrics, ensuring continuous improvement
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing, in product planning and execution
- Establishing plans to realize commercial viability (the potential of our business/product to make $ and compete effectively)
Position Requirements
The title (PM or Senior PM) is determined in the hiring process
At least 3 years of work experience
At least 1 year of experience in software
Product-led growth experience is a nice-to-have. Knowledge is a must-have.
Strong analytical skills; comfortable with spreadsheets and/or BI tools to analyze data
- Experience with SQL and/or Python is a big plus
Excellent communication skills; able to synthesize insights and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where curiosity and a bias for action are valued
Familiarity with product development processes, from ideation to launch

Bachelor’s degree required

SingleStore’s base salary range for this role, if based in California, Colorado, Washington, or New York City is: $112,000 - $148,000 USD per year
