📋 Project Management🟣 Senior

Job description

Mod Op is seeking a digitally fluent, operationally strong, and client-savvy Sr. Program Manager to lead complex, cross-channel marketing initiatives and multi-SBU programs for our enterprise clients. This valued role serves as the central orchestrator of Mod Op’s diverse, full-service agency expertise, ensuring every workstream aligns to client goals and contributes to a cohesive digital transformation strategy.

As the primary delivery liaison and point of accountability, the Sr. Program Manager leads end-to-end program orchestration, managing timelines, interdependencies, and budgets to deliver both day-to-day excellence and long-term business impact. This role manages a holistic view of program health, proactively mitigating risks and enabling teams to deliver their best work. The Sr. Program Manager builds trust, guides cross-functional teams, and brings structure, clarity, and partnership to everything we do.

Who You Are

  • You’re a seasoned, full-service agency program manager with deep knowledge of cross-channel integrated marketing, brand and digital strategy, media, creative, CRM, analytics, and technology.

  • You have the experience to back up your skills. This isn’t your first rodeo. You have exceptional skills in delivering concurrent marketing projects of every kind, with big budgets, big teams, big challenges, and big brains.

  • Internal and client teams trust and value you to ensure project success, communicate proactively, and remove barriers. Operating with exceptional business acumen, you build genuine relationships, anticipate needs, and proactively drive solutions. You thrive on collaboration and a desire to elevate those around you.

  • You bring structure to ambiguity, with strong communication and operational chops. You’re a detail-focused executor who connects timelines, deliverables, and resources to client outcomes through clear, actionable plans. You know how to relay information to your teams from your client and back again.

  • As a client-first, solution-oriented problem solver, you operate with a commitment to operational rigor without losing sight of creativity and flexibility. You are a natural team leader who fosters accountability, clarity, and high performance across every engagement. You believe in a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to solving complex challenges.

Essential Functions

Program & Client Leadership

  • Ability to connect marketing execution to business outcomes; translating client strategy and objectives into actionable execution plans

  • Managing large, multi-workstream programs for enterprise clients with deliverables that thread multiple Mod Op services to achieve project goals.

  • As the face of delivery, you build trust and results through transparent and productive client communication, while proactively managing risks to keep programs on track.

Program Governance & Delivery Management

  • Driving consistent program structures, status reporting, profitability monitoring, media plans, and scope/budget management across initiatives.

  • Owning end-to-end delivery accountability: timelines, quality, dependencies, risk mitigation, and program health

  • Aligning and scheduling work and teams including defining activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, and associated resource requirements

  • Responsible for ensuring all deliverables sent to the client are top quality and meet expectations

Profitability & Utilization Management

  • Overseeing financial performance and delivery progress across programs, including forecasting, pacing, scope adherence, profitability optimization, and resource utilization

  • Identifying and mitigating workflow, timing, or resourcing risks across delivery streams.

  • Maintaining accurate and proactive reporting to both internal and client stakeholders.

  • Ensure forecasts include allocations for both billable + non-billable time within 5 business days of the opportunity being opened

  • Actively communicate staffing needs on opportunities opened that will require staffing within the next 30 days

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Serving as the internal delivery liaison, guiding and supporting cross-functional team members in defining the way we can most effectively deliver to the clients’ objectives. Fostering collaboration, communication, and shared ownership of outcomes.

  • Mentoring PMs and junior leaders, helping to develop business acumen, stakeholder management skills, and team accountability.

  • Partnering with Mod Op leaders to ensure appropriate resourcing and staffing plans.

  • Identifying and improve processes that elevate efficiency, clarity, and delivery excellence for Mod Op and our clients.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in program management within a full-service agency environment.

  • Proven success managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary enterprise marketing programs.

  • Deep understanding of integrated marketing functions and channels, including but not limited to: brand, media, content/creative, CRM, marketing automation, digital strategy, analytics, and technology.

  • Strong leadership presence and business acumen, with the ability to guide both internal and client conversations at the executive level when needed.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex budgets, forecasts, scopes, and delivery timelines.

  • Knowledge of both B2B and B2C client business operations, and how they differ.
