We’re looking for a Senior Python Engineer with experience in building scalable systems and a strong interest or background in AI/ML pipelines to join our backend and AI platform team.
What you’ll do:
- Design and develop scalable, production-grade backend services using Python
- Build and maintain APIs and infrastructure that support AI/ML pipelines and models
- Work closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to deploy, monitor, and optimize machine learning models
- Develop and optimize data ingestion, preprocessing, and transformation pipelines
- Implement versioning, testing, and deployment for models in production (MLOps)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements for AI-powered features
- Contribute to AI model lifecycle management (training, evaluation, retraining, rollback)
- Integrate third-party AI APIs and frameworks into the platform
- Ensure reliability, observability, and scalability of AI components
- Stay up-to-date with emerging tools and best practices in AI engineering and MLOps
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of Python experience in a production environment
- Solid experience with Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Experience working with ML tools/frameworks like scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face
- Familiarity with LLMs, RAG architectures, or deploying generative AI models
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, DVC, Airflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI)
- Knowledge of building and deploying RESTful APIs for AI/ML services
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency with data storage solutions (SQL/NoSQL, time-series databases, etc.)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus points for:
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) or embedding search
- Knowledge of real-time data processing and streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark, etc.)
