Position Summary:

Our Sales Engineering leader at Perforce is searching for a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Continuous Testing team, in charge of two industry leading solutions: Perfecto and BlazeMeter.  We are looking for an individual who is either an experienced sales engineer / presales, or someone who comes from a strong developer skills with the ambition to transition into a sales engineer role.

You will be part of a very international SE team with extensive experience, giving you great exposure to DevOps and test automation best practices in various industries including the largest players in fintech, banking, telecommunications, retail, luxury goods, automotive, streaming, high technology, etc.

You will be working with tier-1 enterprises who are leaders in their own field and therefore will be expected to possess a matching level of presentation and technical skills, as well as work ethics and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Self-starter – you are expected to make things happen by being resourceful and smart with your time management and prioritization.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or consulting in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Prior experience in conducting demonstrations, training, professional service and managing evaluations.
  • Fast learner and not afraid to learn new technologies in a short timeframe.
  • A combination of hands-on experience in:

Programming: Java (must have) plus one other object-oriented language, e.g., C#.

Automation frameworks: Selenium/Appium, and JMeter (must have’s).

Understanding of networking concepts (HTTP, TCP/IP, VPN), SaaS based network & security considerations.

Advantageous:

  • Domain expert in DevOps and software testing – functional and non-functional, e.g. load, performance, security, accessibility.
  • Experience communicating with enterprise level technical and business executives.
  • Strong track record of success working with Account Executives to exceed quota.
  • Languages, e.g. JavaScript, PHP, Python.
  • App development, e.g. Android Studio, Xcode.
  • Frameworks: Playwright, WDIO, Espresso, XCUITest, Gatling, K6, LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of CI platforms – Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Azure DevOps, Bitrise, etc.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
