Overview:

The Solutions Security Architect is to analyse and provide security requirements as well as relevant documentation to ensure that the delivered software solutions and products  have the appropriate security services integrated into the solution at release/go-live based on business requirements and relevant risk appetite.

Key Accountabilities and Duties:

  • Provide security direction to ensure that security is a key focus for the deliverables and products.
  • Assess risks (through assessments, threat models) and recommend mitigation strategies in areas such as perimeter security, IAM, access control, encryption, monitoring and logging.
  • Work closely with project teams, architects, and developer teams to drive security requirements, architectures, patterns, and approaches ensuring solutions are secure by design in terms of infrastructure, networking and application layers for cloud, on premise and hybrid environments.
  • Interpret high level business requirements, translate them to security ones (i.e. functional, NFRs) and communicate them to solution architects, developments and engineers.
  • Oversee and ensure security requirements are implemented during SDLC and overall delivery facilitating and leading the relevant delivery quality gates (i.e. signoff) from security architecture point of view.
  • To produce, document and maintain reference security architecture and blueprints to ensure that the overall delivered architecture is fit for purpose and effective when transitioned into service.
  • Knowledge share sessions with the wider team

Qualifications, Experience and Competences

  • Passion, drive, and a belief in the value of proper enterprise security architecture as an enabler of business performance.
  • Expertise within several of the following cybersecurity areas: application security, mobile security, modern authentication and authorisation protocols (including i.e. OAuth 2.0 and FIDO 2), cloud-native architectures, network security, infrastructure security, APIs and gateways.
  • Security architecture certifications such as GIAC, ISSAP, AWS Security Architect or SABSA are considered as plus but not mandated.
  • It will be nice to have a knowledge base in Lottery Hosts or in Lottery Ticketing System.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in security architecture with a strong understanding of Cloud technologies, Virtualization and Kubernetes, Modern software architectures, COTS integrations.
  • Experience in security architecture design and standards
  • Experienced in creating and reviewing technical documentation and designs (i.e. ADD, HLD, Threat Modells)
  • Experience with Data Privacy Standards and Compliance

Minimum Experience

  • Previous proven experience working in a similar technical Solution Security Architect role.
