Job Description
One of our clients operates prominently in the financial sector, where we enhance operations across their extensive network of 150,000 workstations and support a workforce of 4,500 employees. Our IT solutions ensure streamlined processes and heightened security, enabling them to maintain leadership in financial technology.
The project is responsible for the modernization of account settlement processes in the banking sector, transitioning from a legacy tool to a robust new online system.
- Drive Innovation in Banking Technology:Contribute to the digitization and modernization of a banking application, bringing creativity and innovative ideas to enhance the overall process
- Leverage your expertise:Continue to learn and refine your skills as a Software Engineer and offer support for your colleagues/stakeholders
- Tailor client solutions: Develop new or modified software products or ongoing business projects
- Consultancy & analytics: Evaluate, assess, and recommend robust software solutions for assigned tasks
- Deliver high-quality code: Ensuring the fulfilment of the requirements, taking into consideration also its performance within the agreed time estimate
- Drive Continuous Improvement:Identify areas of improvement in existing programs and subsequent refactoring
- Agile Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless project development, effective communication, alignment, and successful delivery.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in software development ( Angular & Java )
- Good knowledge of Angular and adjacent technologies used in projects: RxJS, Typescript/Javascript, NgRx/NgXs, Angular material and experience with responsive UI Development having in mind Web standards, Accessibility and best practices
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive Angular applications with clean, scalable, and reusable code
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Good knowledge of Java 17, Java ecosystem frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, associated patterns (e.g. SOLID principles, Design Patterns), API driven development
- Working experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks
- Tooling: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins
- Effective communication skills with a good command both in German and English
Nice to have:
- Experience with CI/CD and deployment platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
