Salary: $130-$150k base, plus bonus based on performance
100% remote position - must be willing to work East Coast hours (9:30 AM - 5:30 PM EST)
As the Senior Director of Programmatic Strategy, you will serve as the agency’s foremost expert and strategic leader in the programmatic media landscape. This role sits at the intersection of innovation, data-driven media planning, and enterprise client advisory. You’ll define and lead programmatic strategy across a portfolio of high-growth accounts, collaborating closely with internal teams and senior clients to architect solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
You bring deep knowledge of DSP platforms (including DV360, The Trade Desk, and Amazon) and a forward-thinking approach to programmatic buying across Display, Video, Native, OTT/CTV, and Digital Out-of-Home. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on driving campaign excellence, account growth, and strategic innovation.
Own strategic leadership for all programmatic engagements—developing comprehensive media plans aligned to client goals, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
Shape the agency’s programmatic vision, evolving our service offerings and innovation roadmap in collaboration with cross-channel leads and executive stakeholders.
Act as the senior strategic advisor for clients, translating business objectives into scalable media strategies and overseeing campaign performance at a portfolio level.
Partner with data, analytics, and creative teams to develop full-funnel, insight-driven campaign strategies, rooted in audience segmentation, behavioral data, and channel attribution.
Guide a team in the development, optimization, and execution of complex, multi-channel media campaigns—ensuring precision, performance, and a culture of testing and iteration.
Champion internal education and best practices across the programmatic discipline—upskilling teams and establishing strategic frameworks, benchmarks, and processes.
Leverage advanced analytics and platform data to synthesize performance narratives and present recommendations to executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Proactively identify whitespace, growth opportunities, and efficiency gains across accounts and internal operations.
7–10+ years of progressive experience in programmatic media, with a focus on strategic leadership and client advisory.
Programmatic YouTube experience transacted through DV360
Demonstrated success leading multi-million-dollar programmatic budgets with proven performance growth.
Deep expertise in DV360 (required), The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, and additional programmatic platforms and measurement tools.
Strong fluency in all programmatic tactics including display, native, video, OTT/CTV, and DOOH.
Strategic thinker with a track record of building integrated media strategies that ladder up to business outcomes.
Proven ability to manage complex projects, mentor team members, and collaborate across disciplines (creative, analytics, client services).
Exceptional communication skills—able to distill complex media performance into clear, actionable insights.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
