We are seeking an experienced professional to help enhance and automate our testing infrastructure, ensuring the quality and reliability of our cybersecurity products. This is a 100% remote position with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area!

About the Role

This is a position within the engineering team working under the guidance of the test automation engineering manager. The Senior Test Tools Engineer must be a detail and process oriented, independent, self-motivated individual with a proven track record of experience developing and supporting software in diverse enterprise environments for multiple platforms and enterprise technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Keeperโ€™s integration points with enterprise technologies, including LDAP, SSO, SCIM, and Cloud Identity providers (e.g., Azure, Okta, Google), and identify relevant test integration points that impact operations and scalability.

  • Build test tools based on Keeperโ€™s developer tools and SDKs, supporting integration and load testing scenarios, ensuring robust, scalable solutions.

  • Develop and maintain automated web-based API tests, focusing on ensuring proper handling of positive and negative responses from API calls.

  • Write and maintain code/scripts in languages like Java, .NET, Python, Perl, and Go to support automated testing processes, integration testing, and profiling client applications.

  • Work with Jira and Confluence to process tickets, document work, and track testing progress and results.

  • Focus on identifying and testing scalability challenges related to integrations, ensuring that enterprise-level systems perform optimally under various loads.

  • Continuously analyze and improve test automation tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance test execution efficiency and ensure high-quality results.

  • Write tests that cover the full API lifecycle, perform profiling of client applications, and ensure correct handling of various response types (positive and negative).

  • Collaborate with product teams, QA engineers, and other developers to improve testability and deliver seamless integrations.

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, focusing on API and integration testing.

  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, Perl, or Go.

  • Hands-on experience with SDKs for developing automated processes and integrating systems.

  • Extensive experience with automated web-based API testing and profiling client applications.

  • Expertise in LDAP, SSO, SCIM, and Cloud Identity providers (e.g., Azure, Okta, Google).

  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Postman, and JUnit.

  • Experience with developing test tools to support integration, load, and performance testing.

  • Solid knowledge of scalable cloud architectures and enterprise system testing.

  • Experience using Jira and Confluence for tracking tickets, documentation, and collaboration.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues across systems.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote, cross-functional teams.
