Location: This position is remote within the United States.
What’s the role?
As a Senior Visual Designer at Huge, you will be responsible for driving the creative output across a range of innovative projects. We expect you to bring a strong pedigree in visual design, along with a demonstrated passion and expertise in digital experiences. You will play a crucial role—designing polished, innovative digital experiences, championing work to clients, and leading teams with creative direction and mentorship. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently scoping design phases of projects and representing the company at pitches and industry events as required.

Ensure the highest standards of visual design are met and maintained.
Utilize your strong pedigree in visual design to create visually stunning and impactful work.
Bring a multidisciplinary, strategic approach to solving design challenges.
Leadership and direction:
Provide clear direction and guidance to designers on project teams.
Foster a collaborative and creative environment that encourages professional growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
Maintain direct contact with clients, guiding them through the design process with confidence and clarity.
Advocate for product design best practices, scalable design systems, and UX principles.
What do we expect from you?
5+ years of proven experience in Visual and UI Design, with a strong focus on digital experiences and creating visually stunning designs.
Figma expert: Mastery of the tool to create, maintain, and evolve complex design systems and components.
Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, responsive design, and product design across web, mobile web, and apps.
Proficiency in working within and scaling design systems across multiple devices and touchpoints while maintaining consistency.
Foundational design excellence: Strong command of hierarchy (layout and type), color theory, and use of photography.
Creativity within constraints: Able to explore design solutions within brand and system boundaries, with a curious and explorative mindset.
Attention to detail and craft, delivering pixel-perfect and production-ready designs.
Sharp presentation skills: Can articulate design rationale clearly, linking visual choices to customer and business value.
Leadership and communication skills: Comfortable providing direction and feedback, and elevating the team’s work quality.
AI literacy: Strong point of view on how AI is reshaping design. Bonus if you’ve experimented with or explored this in your work.
Experience with pitches or industry events is a plus.
Health care industry experience is a plus, but not required.
English level B2+: Able to clearly express ideas and rationale in English, both written and verbal.
This role is currently not available for hire or work in New Mexico, and Hawaii, USA.

The salary range for this position is as listed below. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the actual salary ranges for current and former employees who are either currently filling a similar role or did in the past; the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations; the market demand for that role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based. For current Huge employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
