Summary

The Senior Web Experience Manager will focus on optimizing Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), advancing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies, and managing our Content Management System (CMS) to scale marketing and content operations. You’ll be expected to bring a critical eye, challenge assumptions, and interrogate test plans and initiatives with data-backed insights. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Growth, Content, and Engineering teams to elevate Deel’s web presence and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own Deel.com’s conversion performance metrics across core marketing pages.

  • Lead A/B and multivariate testing via Optimizely, working in collaboration with our CRO agency to identify high-impact opportunities and recommending data-driven experiments.

  • Collaborate with analytics to interpret Amplitude data to inform optimization hypotheses and validate test outcomes.

  • Partner with UX/UI designers to iterate on layout, messaging, and flow based on conversion goals.

  • Making tactical changes to forms, CTAs, layouts, and messaging to enhance conversion flows.

  • Identifying friction points through tools like Amplitude and executing fixes and enhancements.

  • Critique the website consistently with the mindset of a prospective customer.

  • Collaborate with Senior Website SEO & Content Manager for on-page SEO efforts using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs/SEMRush.

  • Perform regular audits to uncover crawl, indexation, and internal linking issues.

  • Drive the optimization of content structure, metadata, and schema to improve organic rankings and user intent satisfaction.

  • Implementing optimized metadata, structured content, and internal linking.

  • Supporting audit implementation, resolving crawl/index issues, and ensuring site health.

  • Refreshing and enhancing existing content based on SEO performance and intent alignment.

  • Collaborating with the Website Localization Manager to ensure search performance across languages and markets.

  • On an ad-hoc basis, aid in building pages within the CMS platform used by marketing (Strapi).

  • Collaborate with developers and content stakeholders to maintain efficient workflows and ensure website updates follow brand and performance standards.

  • Train content and marketing teams on best practices for CMS usage and content hygiene.

  • Act as a strategic partner for Product Marketing, Growth, and Demand Gen teams by evaluating the effectiveness of website updates and campaign-driven landing pages.

  • Proactively push back on poorly scoped or low-impact test ideas with tact, data, and clarity.

  • Influence upstream decision-making on how website experience supports pipeline and brand growth.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in website optimization, with demonstrable experience in CRO, SEO, and CMS ownership.

  • Fluent in Optimizely, Amplitude, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills — you’re comfortable questioning experiments or ideas that don’t make business sense.

  • Deep understanding of modern SEO practices (technical and content).

  • Experience leading A/B testing roadmaps and interpreting performance data independently.

  • Adept at balancing speed with high quality, knowing when to prototype fast and when to optimize for scale.

  • Experience working with a project management system, such as Jira or Airtable.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate details and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management and issue resolution.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with global localization/translation workflows in CMSs.

  • Experience working on B2B SaaS websites with multi-regional or multi-lingual audiences.

  • Understanding of marketing funnels and lead-gen strategies.

  • Agency as well as SaaS background would be beneficial due to liaising with multiple cross functional stakeholders.
