Job Description

For our Energy Infrastructure Solutions’ team, we are looking for an hands-on and enthusiastic person in the role of Service Engineer to support the growth in our power conversion system (PCS) business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Start-up and commissioning of inverters/ converters at customers’ BESS fields or remotely.
  • Diagnose and repair of faulted inverters/ converters on field, troubleshooting and replacement of spare parts including electronic boards, AC and DC fuses, fans, and filters etc.
  • Follow procedures to provide maintenance to inverters/ converters.
  • Complete on time weekly field reports that capture time and work completed on site.
  • Responsible of inventory parts assigned to you to perform at work at the field.
  • Responsible of caring for company property such as company vehicle, tools, electronical devices.
  • Conduct training sessions for installers, system integrators and EPCs.
  • Prepare reports on the analysis of product failures and conduct improvement plans.
  • Travel based on operations demands.

Qualifications

  • Educational degree in electrical maintenance, electro technical services, electrical engineering, or related majors
  • Experience from a similar technical support role
  • Hands-on experience with PV/BESS products and related electrical technologies
  • Certificates of Medium-Voltage & Low-Voltage electricity to work in at least one of the EU countries is  a must
  • Good understanding of commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, monitoring and repairing of heavy electrical equipment
  • Very good communication skills in English, Chinese is a plus
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Driver’s license Class B
  • Basic network concepts is considered a plus
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
