As a Site Reliability Engineer for Hostinger Horizons, you’ll be at the forefront of building and maintaining a highly scalable and resilient platform for our innovative AI, no-code, web app builder.
You’ll leverage your deep expertise in Linux, cloud-native technologies, and modern SRE practices to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of this platform. What You Will Do:
- Own the SRE responsibilities for Hostinger Horizons, our innovative AI, no-code, web app builder
- Optimize and maintain existing APIs for the Horizons platform ensuring efficient data flow and system interoperability
- Manage and evolve infrastructure, leveraging cloud-native technologies to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Operate and enhance our applications deployed to Kubernetes (frontend/backend)
- Support and maintain sandbox machines for development and testing environments
- Collaborate closely with team engineers, CloudOps, and infrastructure engineers to implement SRE best practices and ensure production-readiness.
- Ensure high availability, observability, and cost-efficiency across infrastructure components, including Google Cloud Storage (GCS) and Google Cloud SQL
- Handle incidents, perform root cause analysis, and lead post-mortems related to the product’s infrastructure.
What We Expect
- Experience: At least 3 years managing Linux systems.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Git, SQL, and CI/CD tools.
- API/CLI Expertise: Strong understanding of API design principles and hands-on experience with optimizing and maintaining API/CLI services.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python and Bash. Go or similar languages are a plus.
- Cloud Platform Experience: Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Kubernetes, GCS, and SQL.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Communication: Collaborative mindset and a high sense of ownership and accountability.
- Reliability Engineering: Experience in building and maintaining highly available, scalable, and resilient systems in a cloud environment.
Nice To Have:
- Familiarity with Linux control groups (cgroups) for resource management and system performance tuning.
- Understanding of Linux container technologies (e.g., Docker, containerd) and how they support scalable and isolated application environments.
- Familiarity with AI integration in applications, particularly with large language models.
