The Video Editor will be responsible for crafting engaging video content across multiple platforms, including social media, YouTube, and digital ads. From short-form reels to long-form YouTube content, you’ll play a key role in shaping the brand’s visual storytelling.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit and produce high-quality video content for various platforms, including:
  • Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Long-form YouTube videos.
  • Social media ads and promotional content.
  • General social media posts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
  • Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools to enhance video quality, add animations, and incorporate special effects.
  • Cut, trim, and edit raw footage into polished, engaging final products.
  • Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and background music as needed.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct formatting, aspect ratios, and file sizes.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video strategies that align with branding and campaign goals.
  • Maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all video content.

What You Need

  • Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
  • Experience editing both short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube, ads, branded content) videos.
  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and video engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality content.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animations is a plus.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and best practices for video content.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experience with color grading and sound design.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for video editing and automation.

Salary

  • Competitive salary.
  • This is a full-time, long-term position.
  • The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement.
  • Work from home.
  • Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 1 hour accepted) - PST.
