As a Software Engineer (Integration), you will play a critical role in expanding and maintaining the company’s connections with various crypto platforms, wallets, and exchanges. You will work closely with the engineering and product teams to build robust, scalable data pipelines that enable accurate tax calculations for users. This role requires strong technical skills, keen attention to detail, proactive communication, and a passion for delivering clean, reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Our client is a rapidly growing venture-backed software company based in Australia, with a global user base across 23 countries. Since its founding in 2018, the company has developed a powerful self-service platform that simplifies cryptocurrency tax reporting. Their solution enables users, including individual investors and financial professionals, to accurately track, organize, and report crypto transactions across hundreds of exchanges and blockchains.
As part of their strategic growth, the company is establishing a dedicated offshore team in the Philippines. They are now seeking three skilled, analytical, and forward-thinking Software Engineers (Integration) to join this new team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Build & Maintain Integrations:
- Design, develop, and enhance API, CSV, and blockchain data feeds from a wide range of providers. Continuously improve and expand our suite of over 3,500 integrations to ensure users receive complete and accurate transaction histories for seamless tax calculations
Proactive Monitoring:
- Use internal monitoring tools to proactively track integration health and performance, identify potential issues early, and prevent regressions before they affect end users
Triage & Prioritization:
- Triage, prioritize, and manage bugs or issues related to integrations, ensuring that high-impact problems are resolved efficiently and effectively
Troubleshoot & Resolve:
- Independently investigate and resolve ambiguous technical issues related to integrations. Take ownership of debugging, troubleshooting, and driving issues to closure
Collaborate & Communicate:
- Partner with the product team to identify and implement improvements in existing integrations. Provide clear, timely updates to support, product, and other cross-functional teams regarding issue status and resolution
Drive Continuous Improvement:
Anticipate challenges and proactively suggest and implement improvements to integration systems, processes, and workflows to increase efficiency and performance
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript
Strong proficiency in JavaScript
Experience with API development, testing, and integration
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a remote environment
Highly proactive and action-oriented mindset
Ability to self-manage and drive initiatives independently
Resourceful and detail-oriented in solving complex and ambiguous technical issues
Passionate about blockchain technology and its real-world applications

A dvantageous skills or nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges and blockchains
- Experience in accounting or bookkeeping in a professional setting
