Job description
SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry.
Sales is a huge part of our strategy. SeatGeek competes against entrenched legacy players to win marquee contracts at as many venues as possible. To achieve our ambitious sales goals, SeatGeek’s Sales Consulting team works hand in hand with our Sales executives to build highly tailored, value-oriented narratives that showcase our technical differentiators and bottom-line impact. Together, we secure primary ticketing partnerships with some of the world’s most iconic sports and entertainment organizations.
The Solutions Design Specialist owns the design and creation of all sales pitches, solution presentations, and proposals. These prospect-facing deliverables are critical sales milestones built for demanding senior-level executives and team presidents. Thus, the Solutions Design Specialist is responsible for ensuring that every detail of every piece of collateral tells a punchy, compelling story that puts SeatGeek in the best possible position to win multi-million dollar deals.
The Sales Consulting team is small, scrappy, and fast-moving. Therefore, the Solutions Design Specialist also has the opportunity to create templates, playbooks, and repeatable processes to enable us to scale and operate with more efficiency and consistency. This individual should have a bias toward action and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to help us up-level the entire team. You’ll report to our Senior Director, Sales Consulting.
What you’ll do
- Design and build sales decks - lots of them! You will “take the pen” on outlining a first draft of key presentations and advise internal partners on developing a compelling narrative with both “vertical” and “horizontal” logic
- Become a trusted partner to SeatGeek’s sales executives, business consultants, and solutions consultants
- Partner with our designers to ensure aesthetic quality and consistency
- Develop advanced understanding of the SeatGeek platform, its use cases and value drivers, our competitive differentiation, and industry trends and best practices
- Work seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams, including product, R&D, marketing, and client services
- Create financial models to tell a story around the ROI of various product offerings
What you have
- 3+ years in either sales, pre-sales, or consulting, preferably with exposure to the sports or ticketing industry
- Expertise in building compelling, information-packed presentations with clear narratives (preference for Google Slides). If you were the person on your last team who everyone relied upon to build the best decks, we want to talk to you! Even better if you have received formal/informal training in presentation design
- A natural eye for design with acute attention to detail
- Ability to balance urgency/expediency with borderline perfectionism
- Experience with financial modeling
- Experience supporting high-value, complex sales processes or consulting engagements
- World-class oral, written, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and as a part of a large, matrixed team to solve problems and “make things happen”
- An iterative, collaborative working style for co-creating alongside teammates
- Openness to feedback and coaching
- Previous experience as a strategy or management consultant is preferred
- Previous experience in technology or SaaS is preferred
Perks
- Equity stake
- Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
- A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
- Unlimited PTO
- Up to 16 weeks of fully-paid family leave
- 401(k) matching program
- Student loan support resources
- Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
- Up to $25k towards family building and reproductive health services
- Gender-affirming care support program
- $500 per year for wellness expenses
- Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical
- $120 per month to spend on tickets to live events
- Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music
The salary range for this role is $86,000 - $124,000 USD. For roles based in our sales organization, the range provided reflects the roles On Target Earnings, which means the range includes both the annual base salary and the incentive target for the role. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
