Job description

Promoting physician best practices and ensuring that we provide the highest quality of care to Thirty Madison patients everywhere is vital to supporting the patient experience. Accordingly, we’re looking for a patient-obsessed and quality-focused physician to join KMG Medical Group as a staff level telemedicine physician on an as needed basis, to care for patients on our telemedicine platform and focus on delivering quality medical expertise through virtual care.

What you get to do every day

  • Consult and treat patients experiencing chronic medical conditions
  • Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications
  • Proactively check in with patients on their treatment plan, as appropriate
  • Work with our integrated care team when patient requests require other support
  • Answer patient messages and adapt their treatment plans, as needed
  • Provide feedback about opportunities to improve quality of care and operational processes
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state information privacy laws
  • Advising patients on suitable diets and exercise regimens to improve their overall health
  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the role

  • MD/DO with ABMS Board Certification in either Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
  • At least two (2) years of telehealth experience
  • Multiple state licenses required; must have at least 5 licenses
  • Ability to work at least 32 weekend hours a month (4 weekend days) and 4 holidays a year
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
  • Ability to consult with patients through virtual communication channels
  • Willingness to work across various chronic conditions / service lines

Bonus:

  • Fluency in Spanish both (both written and spoken)
