We are currently seeking a Staff Product Designer to work directly with our EPD executive team on our Platform team to define our visual design across our product. We expect this individual to define visual execution and to play a large role in defining craft for our organization. We’re looking to work with experienced designers who have strong visual taste that can pick up any problem, define a strategy, and lead through execution.
Ideal candidates have a proven track record of crafting exceptional products with consumer-grade craftsmanship, consistently delivering meaningful value to customers. You excel in environments that are full of ambiguity and complexity, enjoying the autonomy to shape and develop a strong POV on where we need to go for craft.. As a thought leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our design practices as we continue to expand rapidly. While prior experience in B2B Saas is beneficial, it is not required.
The Experience Design organization champions our customers by creating and delivering efficient consumer grade experiences through our trust management platform. We aim to earn their trust and contribute to a more secure internet. By providing valuable solutions, we empower Vanta to grow as a business. Our role is vital to the company’s strategic direction, and you will have a significant impact on our product development.
What you will do as a Staff Product Designer at Vanta:
Lead the design and execution of strategic projects that deliver substantial customer value and impact multiple departments.
Maintain our close connection with our creative and brand team to create a seamless brand product customer experience.
Identify and lead design-driven initiatives with organization-wide impact.
Enhance the influence of the Design organization by working openly, sharing customer insights, communicating design solutions, and improving the ways we work.
Mentor other designers, helping to refine concepts and elevate design quality.
Contribute to and refine our design system to ensure it aligns with strategic goals while maintaining consistent, high-quality design standards.
How to be successful in this role:
8-10+ years of experience delivering high-quality experiences on large-scale projects.
Demonstrated track record of maintaining high executional quality and organizational impact.
Skilled in leading the design process from ambiguity to concept and execution for entire product areas.
Strong ability to mentor and influence others, including senior and executive management teams.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex problem-solving.
Proven success in driving design strategy, systemic thinking, and strong product sensibility.
Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating design concepts to diverse audiences.
Proficient in managing complex projects, timelines, and proactive escalation handling.
Portfolio required, showcasing consumer-grade craftsmanship and effective product solutions tailored to customer needs.
