About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager with 5+ years of public accounting experience to join our growing tax team. As a Tax Manager, you will oversee complex tax engagements, provide strategic tax guidance, mentor staff, and build strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for corporations (C & S), partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and bankruptcy cases.
- Research, analyze, and resolve complex accounting and tax issues.
- Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities for clients.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Provide technical guidance to staff and review their work for accuracy and quality.
- Ensure timely completion of engagements within budget and deadlines.
- Collaborate with partners on strategy, planning, and client service initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration.
- CPA license required.
- 5+ years of tax experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex tax engagements.
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. permanently (no sponsorship available).
