Description
The Team Lead (PM+) role is a hybrid role that blends project management with hands-on technical contributions to drive our AI initiatives forward. This person will work closely with engineers and cross-functional PMs to manage sprints, define problem spaces, and ensure seamless coordination across teams. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and highly organized, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate.
Responsibilities
Support AI work by managing projects, sprints, and tracking overall progress
Work directly with AI engineers on day-to-day tasks and technical priorities
Coordinate with other PMs to identify handoff points and ensure smooth transitions
Validate checkpoints and maintain visibility into sprint statistics
Keep communication tight between teams to ensure nothing gets lost in translation
Help define problem spaces alongside engineers
Assist with writing and reviewing code when needed
Experience in AI and machine learning
Proficiency in React and frontend development best practices
Experience in project or product management within technical teams
Ability to work closely and effectively with engineers
Skilled in defining technical problems and validating outcomes against objectives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
