Job Summary
As a Javascript Tech Lead, you will be key in guiding the technical direction and standards of a team of engineers. Proficiency in React and TypeScript. Your responsibilities will encompass coding, ensuring the quality of team members’ deliverables, shaping standards and best practices, designing technical solutions, and participating in the selection of new team members. While your knowledge of Python and NodeJS is beneficial, it is not mandatory, but it will be considered an advantage. In this role, you will be expected to support engineering process improvements and establish best practices, providing expert guidance to project teams across the organization. Your leadership will be crucial in cultivating a culture of technical excellence.
Responsibilities and Duties
Guiding the technical direction and standards of a team of engineers;
Coding and ensuring the quality of team members’ deliverables;
Shaping standards and best practices;
Designing technical solutions;
Participating in the selection of new team members;
Supporting engineering process improvements and establishing best practices;
Providing expert guidance to project teams across the organization;
Cultivating a culture of technical excellence.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in React and TypeScript;
Solid Experience with JavaScript and jQuery;
Experience Leading Software Development Teams.
Highly Desirable Skills
Python and NodeJS (considered an advantage);
Knowledge of CSS Pre-Processors (SASS, LESS);
Jest.
