Role Overview

We’re looking for innovative and results-driven individuals who are motivated to make an impact and help evolve the tech landscape at 360dialog, a bootstrapped company that has grown from hundreds of customers to tens of thousands over the past 4 years. We are now laying the foundations for the next phase of growth, both in terms of code, and especially in mindset, approach, and people.

Key Responsibilities:

The current scope of the role — which we are actively defining — is to:

  • Participate in the analysis and systems/software design, then bring the design to the teams being overseen, participate in the implementation, and oversee PRs to build the most reliable and scalable design possible in an iterative manner.
  • Get to MVPs/prototype state as quickly as possible to shorten the feedback loop, continuously align with stakeholders, and build the foundations for scalable and reliable software.
  • Ensure a high level of code quality through PR reviews, and the design and implementation of best practices, quality gates, and security practices.
  • Ensure a high level of system reliability, scalability, and cost/performance by raising code coverage (preferring e2e/integration/“real” tests over unit tests) and coordinating periodic stress testing/performance assurance activities.
  • Support in the performance reviews of team members currently being overseen.

  • Do what makes sense! (Meaning: afterwards, something needs to be better than before, without introducing more problems than solved.)
  • Bring no bullshit! We don’t need any of that.
  • Strong tech fundamentals and skills in Cloud, networking, Unix, (ideally) Python and Go, and scalable systems.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling one or more products to thousands of customers, with at least two referrals from co-founders or colleagues.

  • 100% Remote, also from the Moon (as long as latency and timezone is OK).
