Role: Technical Lead

Location: Bengaluru

What you’ll do

As a Technical Lead in our technology department, you require:

●7+ years’ experience developing with an Object-Oriented Language (Java, C++ )

â—ŹExcellent understanding of algorithms & data structures

â—ŹGood knowledge of the Linux environment

â—ŹHands on expertise working with any one of UI technologies such as Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS

â—ŹHands on expertise working with SQL like MySQL, Postgres

â—ŹHands-on expertise with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB and good understanding of column based datastore like Redshift

â—ŹHands on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

â—ŹExperience working on CI/CD pipelines

â—ŹExperience having worked on Big Data technologies and Distributed systems is a plus.

â—ŹCommunication and stakeholder management

oClarity in thoughts and communication with the Team and stakeholders, being on top of things and taking ownership of components end-to-end

â—ŹTech

oShould guide the team technically

oShould have experience in creating system design, High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)

oMust understand and consider the non-functional aspects of any requirement

oWilling to engage in coding tasks

oShould promote design principles, patterns, and best coding practices

oShould be capable of leading and conducting multiple evaluations or Proof of Concepts (PoCs)

Who are your stakeholders?

Key stakeholders include the Product Leads of various products, Leads of various teams across Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Trading departments

What you’ll bring

â—ŹProduct Development experience using Java and experience in Microservices architecture

•Hands on expertise working in any one of the UI technologies such as Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS

•Hands on expertise building multi-tier web applications, experience working on all layers of the stack is a plus

•Hands on expertise working with SQL and NoSQL databases

•Hands on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

•Hands on experience building scalable services

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

What impact will you create?

As a Technical Lead you will identify & evangelize frameworks and methodologies for building highly available, high-performance systems. You ensure that design/architecture documents incorporate these practices and introduce new tools and methodologies when appropriate to simplify or increase efficiency of development. You’ll drive evaluation of new tools via POCs and continuously evaluate how the team operates in different areas of software engineering. As a technical lead you will be able to initiate changes necessary to move the team a step higher in adopting best practices and critique the software product design and architecture and contribute to its evolution from the inception.
