Contract Technical Recruiter

GoodParty.org is looking for a remote Contract Technical Recruiter to support our rapid scaling and mission-driven growth. You’ll help build a high-impact team of Engineers by sourcing, engaging, and closing candidates using modern recruiting tools and AI-enhanced workflows.

Our AI-powered platform provides free tools to independent candidates to run their campaigns, connect with voters, and serve their communities effectively.

A majority of eligible voters, including more than half of Millennials and Gen Z, say that neither Republicans nor Democrats represent them. GoodParty.org is the solution. In 2024 we empowered 3,444 independent candidate wins across 48 states from all across the ideological spectrum. The only things our elected officials have in common is that they prioritize people over parties and community over corporate interests. In 2024, 40.3 million voters (26% of all voters) cast a ballot for our candidates. We’re not a political party; we’re a platform and a movement to democratize democracy.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Farhad Mohit ($1B+ in exits, including Flipagram/TikTok and Shopzilla), GoodParty.org is building solutions so we can have a truly representative democracy where society’s biggest problems are solved.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner directly with Engineering to drive full cycle recruiting for technical roles, from interview to close.

  • Source exceptional engineering and data talent using Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter Lite, as well as any other sourcing tools.

  • Interview candidates for mission-alignment, technical competency, and startup-readiness using structured interviews and assessments.

  • Coordinate and optimize interview pipelines ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and team members.

  • Utilize CoderPad for technical assessments and Metaview.ai to summarize interviews and track trends.

  • Build diverse pipelines and implement strategies that reduce bias and improve equitable hiring outcomes.

  • Maintain clean and accurate data in Ashby and contribute to weekly reporting on pipeline health, conversion rates, and sourcing effectiveness.

  • You have 7+ years of experience recruiting technical roles at a high-growth startup or mission-driven organization.

  • You’re hands-on, metrics-oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fully remote environment.

  • You’re a power user of modern recruiting stacks (Ashby, LinkedIn, CoderPad) and eager to test and adopt AI-enhanced tools like Metaview.ai.

  • You bring a structured, data-driven approach to hiring, with a knack for creating repeatable and scalable processes.

  • You care deeply about candidate experience, diversity, equity, and building inclusive teams.

  • You thrive at startup speed and deliver at a rapid pace.

The hourly range is $60-$70 per hour for this remote, contract position through September. This range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. We reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time.
