We are seeking a technical support specialist with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service. The position involves managing inbound technical customer and reseller service events remotely for HP commercial high-end printers and technologies. The role aims to minimize customer downtime by providing remote solutions and delivering world-class customer service. The candidate must have a technical background, exceptional communication skills, and prior experience in a care center or remote support center.

Requirements

  • Documented job history with a technical background and customer service expertise
  • 2+ years of applicable experience in support
  • Exceptional communication skills needed to manage interactions with a culturally diverse customer & reseller base
  • Prior experience within a care center / remote support center managing service events via a ticketing system

Responsibilities

  • Managing inbound technical customer & reseller service events remotely (phone, chat, email)
  • Providing remote solutions that minimize customers' downtime

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior field service experience repairing, troubleshooting electro-mechanical commercial products on location at customer sites
  • Graphics and / or application support experience. Adobe suites, RIP software, print job configuration setup
  • Exposure to different media / substrate types, car wraps, banners, commercial prints
  • Previous Designjet, Latex or UV product experience
