Job description

Avanceon is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Team Lead to drive the development of cutting-edge software solutions in the Industrial Automation domain.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and the ability to guide teams using modern development practicesโ€”including AI-powered toolsโ€”to boost productivity, streamline processes, and foster continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

AI-Driven Development

  • Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar technologies to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation processes.

  • Champion the adoption of AI in development workflows to solve complex problems and enhance team efficiency and skill sets.

Project Leadership

  • Lead and manage the complete software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

  • Coordinate cross-functional, remote, and on-site teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

  • Align technical strategy with business objectives to maximize impact and innovation.

Software Development

  • Architect and develop robust backend systems using C#, .NET, Python, and SQL Server.

  • Design responsive and scalable front-end applications using modern frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, Tailwind, HTML, and CSS.

  • Write clean, maintainable code and ensure high test coverage through unit testing and code reviews.

System Integration

  • Develop secure and scalable REST/SOAP APIs, incorporating AI-assisted monitoring and diagnostics.

  • Integrate seamlessly with SCADA systems, PLCs, and third-party industrial platforms to enable real-time connectivity and data flow.

Data & Business Intelligence

  • Design and develop insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.

  • Perform in-depth data analysis to support decision-making and performance optimization.

  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS, and work across various database environments including SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 3 years in a team leadership role.

  • Proficient in C#, .NET, Python, SQL, and modern JavaScript UI frameworks.

  • Demonstrated experience managing remote teams and delivering enterprise-grade applications using Agile methodologies.

  • Strong familiarity with AI/ML tools, business intelligence platforms, and industrial automation technologies such as SCADA and PLC.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Direct experience using AI-enhanced development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalents) in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), cloud-based AI services (e.g., Azure AI, AWS SageMaker), or data science platforms.

  • Foundational understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline configuration
