Sprout Social is looking to hire a Total Rewards Specialist to the People team, based in the Philippines.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a Total Rewards Specialist to support the design, implementation, and administration of Sprout’s compensation and benefits programs. This role will be split between compensation, benefits and global mobility responsibilities, providing critical support across all areas of total rewards. The Total Rewards Specialist will report directly to the Senior Compensation Analyst, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Senior Manager, Benefits.

Compensation

  • Respond to compensation-related inquiries from employees and managers through Sprout’s service desk (including questions related to job leveling, compensation tools, and compensation benchmarking), escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Support the administration of the annual and midyear compensation cycles by answering process/system related questions.
  • Complete annual compensation surveys by gathering and submitting salary information to external vendors.
  • Upload recently created salary ranges in Workday, Pave, and our Global Compensation Range Library to ensure consistency and accuracy across all compensation systems.
  • Provide guidance on Philippines labor laws, wage regulations to ensure alignment with local employment standards.
  • Monitor the compensation email inbox and coordinate responses with the necessary stakeholders.

Benefits and Global Mobility

  • Respond to employee inquiries about benefits offerings (health, dental, vision, leave programs, retirement plans, wellness initiatives) through Sprout’s service desk.
  • Assist in the administration of benefits programs, including coordinating U.S. open enrollment activities, supporting life event changes, and updating employee benefits information.
  • Liaison with Payroll and external vendors to ensure enrollments and deductions are accurate for all entities.
  • Audit invoices received from vendors, create self-bills where applicable, and submit invoices for payments.
  • Initiate Coupa requests for new and updated contracts.
  • Monitor the Benefits email inbox and coordinate responses with the necessary stakeholders.
  • Distribute employee communications, update policies, Wiki pages, and local employee guides.
  • Update employees on Leave in all relevant systems (Workday, Cloudpay, etc.)
  • Complete leave applications and applicable government paperwork for all global Leaves.
  • Provide administrative support to Global Mobility.

What you’ll bring

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in compensation, benefits, HR operations, or a related field within a global HR environment
  • Comfortable working across U.S. and APAC time zones with the ability to operate independently in a remote, globally distributed team
  • Experience managing support tickets and SLAs through an HR service desk or case management platform (e.g., Jira)
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration tools, enrollment workflows, and vendor file feeds for global programs
  • Experience with global payroll functionality including data validation, payroll input preparation, and post-payroll audits
  • Basic knowledge of wage and hour compliance, benefits regulations, and employment law in APAC jurisdictions.
  • Experience tracking vendor invoices and understanding benefits billing cycles, funding timelines, and cost allocation concepts across multiple countries and currencies
  • Experience with compensation benchmarking tools and methodologies (e.g., Radford), including matching jobs, interpreting market data, and maintaining job leveling structures
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for HR data manipulation, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data validation

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in compensation, benefits, HR operations, or a related field within a global HR environment
  • Proficiency entering transactions in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday), including data entry, reporting, business process navigation, and auditing employee records
  • Preferred experience with the end-to-end compensation cycle process (e.g., merit, bonus, equity planning)

Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, including:

  • Participate in Sprout’s in-depth onboarding, including sessions on our mission, values, executive perspectives, and deep dives into our products and customer impact.
  • Set initial priorities with your manager, align on role expectations, and define early career goals within Sprout’s Total Rewards framework.
  • Shadow current processes related to compensation and benefits across all geographies.
  • Familiarize yourself with Sprout’s ticketing system, Workday, compensation tools, global benefits platforms, and overall approach to Total Rewards.

Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride by:

  • Take full ownership of compensation and APAC benefits-related service desk tickets, resolving inquiries independently and escalating more complex issues as needed.
  • Complete job leveling assessments and salary benchmarking exercises, with final review and approval from manager.
  • Support with administration of mid-year compensation cycle.
  • Have a strong understanding of different Total Rewards systems such as Pave.

Within 6 months, you’ll start hitting your stride by:

  • Operate independently in responding to compensation and benefits related inquiries and escalating more complex issues as needed.
  • Take full ownership of EMEA benefits-related service desk tickets, resolving inquiries independently and escalating more complex issues as needed.
  • Update global benefit enrollments and payroll contributions.
  • Audit and submit all benefit-related invoices for processing.
  • Provide expert-level support for global leave processing, including government forms and system updates
