We are a U.S.-focused underwriter of specialty insurance for property and casualty. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Brookfield Wealth Solutions. We offer various products and services to meet businesses’ specific coverage and claims-handling needs. Since 1957, we have partnered with independent agents, wholesale brokers, and retail brokerage partners to provide solutions for niche markets.

We underwrite specialty insurance across many business lines. Our Casualty offerings include primary general liability for non-construction sectors and excess liability for construction, manufacturing, premises, and products. For Construction, we offer primary and supported excess liability, with specialized underwriters and claims service, especially in New York. Our Environmental products provide a full suite of liability options, alongside expertise in environmental risks and an online reporting platform for risk mitigation. We also offer admitted and non-admitted Garage products for auto dealers and service operations. In Marine, we specialize in construction, builders’ risk, logistics, and specialty equipment floaters, supported by our loss control unit and Inland Marine claims team. Our Rockwood division provides voluntary workers’ compensation for industries like mining and last-mile logistics, including site visits and workplace safety training. We also have Specialty Programs for property & casualty and management/professional liability in targeted business segments, and Tax Liability insurance for deal certainty and risk management. In Bermuda, we cover Professional Liability, Property, and Casualty.

We have offices across the United States, including our headquarters in New York, and locations in Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Omaha, Rockwood, San Antonio, and Richmond. Our international presence includes Hamilton, Bermuda, and Rome, Italy. Our financial ratings are A-(Excellent) with a Positive Outlook from A.M. Best and A-(Strong) from Standard & Poor’s.
