This role will be part of the company’s global Asset Protection Team and will be responsible for knowing and actioning on all potential fraud, loss, and abuse risks across the company.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Lead team and cross-functional cohort in the evolution and management of a corporate-wide loss, fraud, and abuse mitigation strategy. Ensure all efforts align with corporate priorities and pertinent roadmaps.
  • Evaluate, quantify, prioritize, and mitigate corporate fraud, loss, and abuse in all omni programs & processes such as customer returns, loyalty, promotions, appeasements, order-in-store, popins/bopis, etc. without significant impacts to customer experience or operational efficiencies.
  • Define and articulate customer experience impact and prevention strategies.
  • Rally senior executive support for fraud, loss, and abuse mitigation tactics/processes.
  • Actively monitor all risk areas to identify emerging risks and design/effect solutions to minimize impact to the company.
  • Establish real-time monitoring tools, key performance indicators (KPI), objectives and key results (OKR) that represent up-to-the-minute volume and velocity of key risk traffic.
  • Manage group of analysts predictively and recuperatively focused on identifying, analyzing, and informing on fraud, loss, and abuse trends and patterns that affect company profitability.
  • Maintain ongoing inventory of business use cases and corresponding ROI measurements to prioritize investments and demonstrate profit impacts.
  • Work with GHO and Field investigators to action on prioritized risks.
  • Evaluate existing fraud, loss, and abuse technologies and controls on an ongoing basis to assess performance. Stay close to industry developments in the fraud, loss, and abuse space to identify new and emerging resources.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree and verifiable work experience in consumer retail environments doing fraud, loss prevention, customer service, finance, or other related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of fraud and risk management in multiple areas: fraud mitigation for online e-commerce transactions, loss mitigation, in-store operations, recovery, and user compliance.
  • Familiarity with retail supply chains, both physical and digital.
  • Experience with large datasets, recognizing and interpreting data trends, and using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience with EBR, Fraud, Loss, and Abuse risk vectors, trends, tools, technologies, and core management platforms.
  • Investigative/Analytical experience.
  • Possess excellent judgment and critical thinking skills and use data-driven insights in ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively managing large teams, including those in a remote environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to lead and influence enterprise-level change. Demonstrated project management skills are a plus!
