Join Hostinger’s Creatives team as a Video Team Lead and play a pivotal role in shaping how we bring ideas to life through the power of video. In this dynamic and collaborative position, you’ll guide a talented team of video specialists—empowering them not just to execute projects, but to grow as creative and technical professionals. You’ll work at the intersection of creativity and performance, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in design, copywriting, branding, campaign management, and product to bring compelling stories to a global audience. From concept to final cut, you’ll ensure that our video content is delivered with purpose, precision, and impact. You will review advertising metrics and ensure that the assets delivered reflect those metrics and iterate on performance to bring it higher and higher!
This is a role for someone who thrives on versatility: one moment you’re reviewing storyboards or motion graphics, the next you’re mentoring a teammate, discussing growth opportunities or aligning creative direction across departments. It requires deep expertise in video production, animation, SFX/VFX, and people skills with a strong drive to foster a culture of growth, creativity, and excellence. Your day to day
- Lead a diverse and skilled video team of 5 people, ensuring every team member’s strengths are aligned with project needs and personal growth opportunities. Conduct regular 1-on-1s, check-ins, and performance evaluations, providing mentorship, support, and actionable feedback. Facilitate ongoing skill-building initiatives, organize training sessions, proactively facilitate growth and professional development for the video team.
- Review drafts, animatics, and final cuts with a critical eye for both creative and technical quality. Provide actionable input on produced video assets. Step in to support production, suggest tools, and solve implementation technical issues.
- Work as a hands on video generalist in the high-impact parts of video assets.
- Maintain high standards of visual storytelling and execution, aligned with Hostinger’s brand, tone, quality, and business goals.
- Manage and address stakeholder feedback, aligning on expectations.
- Own the delivery of YouTube advertising assets, which form 90% of the team’s output. Collaborate with marketing teams to analyze performance, apply insights, and optimize content for impact (CTR, CVR, ROAS, etc.). Ensure that each video ad is crafted not just to look good—but to convert, perform, and drive measurable business results.
- Monitor project timelines, workloads, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of video resources and time in constant collaboration with campaign managers.
- Take a proactive “hustler” approach - suggest workflows and technical implementation methods that are biased toward action while maintaining high quality/delivering results,
- Work closely with PPC, Copywriters, Designers, Project Managers, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure messaging, visuals, and targeting align seamlessly. Build creative video assets that reflect Customer Obsession, delivering ads that speak to real user needs and pain points.
- Promote consistency in how files, versions, and visual assets are managed throughout the production lifecycle.
- Look for opportunities to harness the power of AI to speed up video production processes. Stay ahead of video marketing trends, platform changes, and audience behaviors.
- Encourage the team to bring new concepts, unconventional formats, or bold visual ideas to the table. Promote continuous learning through inspiration sharing, workshops, and post-project retros.
Your skills and experience
- Hands-on expertise in animation, video editing, and crafting high-impact YouTube hooks that grab attention and boost performance.
- Proven experience leading video teams in a fast-paced, creative, and results-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of digital performance marketing, especially in YouTube advertising and its success metrics (CTR, CVR, ROAS, etc.).
- Familiarity with with Youtube ABCD, Problem - Solution methodology as well as key customer purchase decision pillars.
- Hands-on production background—comfortable reviewing cuts, animatics, motion, and technical implementation details.
- Ability to translate marketing insights and performance data into clear creative direction and advertising strategies.
- Skilled in building high-impact video pipelines, improving delivery efficiency, and scaling production without sacrificing quality.
- Deep familiarity with ad creation cycles, from ideation and scripting to post-production and final delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to foster innovation, A/B test creative ideas, drive the testing and implementation of new, high-potential ad formats.
- Experienced in cross-functional collaboration with PPC, Copy, Design, PMs, Product, and Marketing to deliver aligned campaigns.
- Strong organizational skills—able to manage resources, meet deadlines, and maintain structured asset libraries and naming conventions.
- Comfortable mentoring and coaching, setting growth plans, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Obsessed with the customer—creating content that speaks directly to user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Constant learner, staying up to date with industry trends, platform changes, and emerging video formats.
Compensation
- Gross salary starting from 4500 EUR (depends on your experience and competencies).
