User Journey Tracking Project
We’re seeking a skilled web analytics consultant to solve a critical conversion tracking challenge at AllCampus Workplace, a startup within AllCampus that helps employees find and compare college programs with employer discounts.
The Problem: We can see users signing up and eventual conversions, but have zero visibility into what users do on our platform between those points - what they search for, which programs they compare, where they drop off.
The Goal: Implement comprehensive user behavior tracking to enable targeted marketing outreach and improve our poor conversion rate from users to paid leads.
About AllCampus Workplace
- Platform: 20-25 employer-branded portals built on Bubble (eventually expand to 40-60 sites/portals)
- Business Model: Free platform for employers; we earn revenue when employees enroll in college programs
- Current Analytics: Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, HubSpot (limited visibility into user journey)
Project Details
- Timeline: 4 weeks (50-60 hours total)- possibility of extending the contract after Phase 1
- Start date: likely mid to end of September
- Work Style: Remote, embedded team member model
- Rate: $60-65/hr
Job Description
What You’ll Do
Week 1-2: Assessment & Strategy
- Audit current Bubble platform capabilities for analytics implementation
- Evaluate existing Google Analytics, Clarity, and HubSpot setup
- Design custom event tracking for user searches and program comparisons
- Recommend optimal tracking solution within platform constraints
Week 3-4: Implementation & Testing
- Deploy tracking across 3-5 pilot employer sites
- Set up reporting dashboards for user behavior insights
- Test data accuracy and create scaling documentation
- Provide optimization recommendations based on initial findings
Key Deliverables
- Technical assessment of Bubble platform analytics capabilities
- Custom event tracking setup for user journey mapping
- Real-time reporting dashboard for user behavior insights
- Implementation guide for scaling across remaining sites
- Actionable recommendations for improving conversion rates
Qualifications
- Essential: Advanced Google Analytics experience with custom event tracking and conversion funnel setup
- Essential: Experience with marketing analytics tools (Clarity, HubSpot integrations preferred)
- Preferred: Bubble platform experience or understanding of template-based system limitations
- Preferred: User journey mapping and lead generation funnel experience
- Bonus: EdTech or education marketing background
