Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience or other evidence of exceptional ability
- 1-2 years of coding experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular or Ember) with strong CSS skills
- Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies
- Thorough understanding of React.js and the web as a whole
- Testing with a modern test framework i.e., jest, enzyme, cypress, puppeteer, etc
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Yarn, etc
- Strong CSS skills w/ experience building responsive applications across a variety of browsers and devices using modern CSS3 techniques
- Strong communication skills (internal and external), demonstrated problem-solving skills, adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership
Responsibilities
- Build easy-to-use and performant websites serving multiple partners across marketing and design
- Understand the technical constraints of a project, and make pragmatic tradeoffs with stakeholders
- Contribute to and maintain our interactive design system used across all digital properties
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including estimation, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with our design team via regular design critiques and working sessions
- Review and respond to operational issues, escalating as necessary
