Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years experience
- 4+ years of experience in Release engineering/DevOps - CI/CD
- 4+ years of Android or iOS experience having worked on multiple apps shipped to the Google Play or App Store
- Created and maintained automation pipelines
- Excellent understanding of mobile ecosystems/mobile developer platforms
- Proficiency with all or some of the following languages: Ruby, Python, Java
- Experience with tools like Xcode, Android Studio, TestFlight, GitHub Actions, git etc
- Experience managing complex dependencies with build tools such as Maven, Ivy, or Gradle
- Experience with building systems to archive and distribute mobile applications to internal & external users as well as App Store and Play Store
- Experience with macOS or Linux environments
- A passion for programming alongside strong problem solving and architecture abilities
- A love for technology, and an insatiable curiosity for new tools to solve real problems
- Acute attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Highly motivated and organized
Responsibilities
- Design and develop code that glues together various applications in our build pipeline
- Engineer and release new solutions
- Maintain and monitor software builds
- Perform user administration, troubleshooting, and trouble ticket administration
- Support the successful weekly releases of Yohana’s iOS & Android apps to our global audience
- Coordinate across all mobile teams to ensure successful release & delivery of mobile app product features to our users
- Help scale out the entire mobile engineering teams processes and systems
- Help shape the long-term high quality bar of our mobile apps through broad quality strategies
