CPT-10059 Loan Processing Administrative Assistant
Independent Contractor – [Administrative VA/Entry- Advanced Level | Any region except Cebu, Philippines] (Remote).
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Business Support VA to assist with loan processing and administrative tasks for an established mortgage brokerage based in Australia. The VA will handle the administrative side of loan applications, from data entry and document management to ensuring compliance and progress tracking.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
1. Loan Processing & Administrative Support
Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of loan applications through the company’s systems and lender portals.
Gather, organize, and verify client financial documents including income statements, identification, bank statements, and supporting materials.
Track loan application progress, status updates, and pending requirements across multiple lenders.
Maintain compliance with all internal documentation and lender requirements.
Update digital records and ensure all client files are complete and accurately stored.
2. Workflow Management & Documentation
Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for existing loan processing workflows.
Review current processes and suggest improvements for greater efficiency.
Collaborate with the existing virtual team to standardize documentation and ensure consistency.
Monitor administrative timelines to ensure loan files are processed within required deadlines.
3. Coordination & Communication
Work collaboratively with the existing virtual loan processing team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Communicate proactively with the client and team leads through email, Slack, or project management tools.
Prepare summary reports or progress updates for team meetings or management review.
Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct when handling sensitive financial data.
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Skills
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in loan processing, mortgage administration, or financial document management (mortgage or lending experience preferred).
- Intermediate to strong understanding of the mortgage application lifecycle and lender documentation requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Experience creating SOPs or workflow documentation preferred.
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong English reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and eager to learn new systems and workflows.
- Experience with Australian financial software or CRM systems (e.g., ApplyOnline, MyCRM, or Mercury Nexus) is a plus but not required.

Work Schedule
- Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
- Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
- Daily Working Time: 9:30 AM AEDT – 6:30 PM AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time)
Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
Terms of Engagement
- Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
- This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
- All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
