Job Description
The Senior Director, International Commercial Operations is responsible for building structure and executing commercial activities within the International scope. This role acts as the liaison between International regions, finance, operations, marketing and global leadership, to bring operational excellence, commercial rigor, and performance clarity while supporting regional sales teams. This role also ensures that regional strategies are executed properly, financially sound, and aligned to global priorities, while protecting local market agility.
Core Responsibilities:
International Commercial Enablement
- Serve as the central commercial go to partner for EU, MEA, UK, LATAM, APAC, and China teams.
- Translate global commercial priorities into clear operating frameworks for regions.
- Identify gaps between strategy and execution and drive corrective action plans.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Own international commercial performance reporting including sell in, sell out, trade spend, margin, inventory health, and door productivity.
- Standardize KPIs, scorecards, and reporting dashboards and cadence across regions.
- Prepare executive level materials for leadership, board, and finance reviews.
- Highlight risks and opportunities early with clear recommendations by region.
Pricing, Terms & Commercial Discipline
- Partner with Finance to maintain international pricing governance and margin discipline.
- Ensure pricing execution accuracy across regions and retailers.
- Identify pricing inconsistencies, leakage, and cannibalization risks.
- Support commercial negotiations through data, scenarios, and impact analysis.
Forecasting, Inventory & Launch Readiness
- Improve customer forecast accuracy by aligning regional plans with demand, launches, and trade calendars.
- Partner with Demand Planning and Customer Operations to strengthen International order phasing and inventory allocations.
- Ensure new launches meet global standards across all regions.
Cross Functional Leadership
- Act as a senior liaison across Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations.
- Share best practices across regions to scale what works.
Experience & Background
- 10 to 15 years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, commercial finance, or revenue management within beauty, prestige retail, or consumer goods.
- Proven exposure to international, multi region business models including a mix of wholesale, distributor, and omnichannel retail.
- Direct experience working with global retailers such as Sephora, Douglas, Ulta, Boots, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of P&L mechanics, margin structures, trade investment, and pricing architecture.
- Comfortable partnering with Finance on pricing, terms, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Ability to identify financial risk early and translate data into clear commercial actions.
- Track record of improving commercial execution through standardization and performance tracking.
- Experience strengthening forecast accuracy, launch readiness, and inventory discipline across multiple markets.
- Ability to operate independently while dealing with multiple stakeholders across international time zones.
- This position is remote. Candidates must live in the US and must be flexible to work around international hours.
- Strongly prefer candidates with experience in the beauty industry and experience with international markets.
Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $150,000.00-$185,000.00 yearly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
