Job Description

As a Product Manager within Strategy & Product, you will:

  • Develop product and service strategy in alignment with company strategy, and shape the product roadmap, considering customer needs, market standards and the regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare compelling business cases to support product investments, clearly articulating the value proposition, expected outcomes, and resource requirements.
  • Own and drive strategic growth initiatives overseeing the product evolution over the full development cycle: from ideation phase, through design, specification and development and over to the launch and post release analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse internal stakeholders to define R&D budget allocation and monitoring of innovation initiatives part of the R&D portfolio
  • Apply business acumen to critically assess the business fit of M&A and partnership opportunities, including the development of joint value proposition
  • Coordinate the launch of new product features with product marketing and sales operations teams, incl. actively promoting new products within Avaloq as well at Events
  • Communicate product plans, benefits, KPIs and results to all internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, ensuring alignment and buy-in across the organization and balancing high-value solutions for our clients with the complexity of implementation

Qualifications

  • You bring product management experience in financial services, and you are interested in the future of the banking industry and the evolution of the technology
  • You have a bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • You are confident in making strategic product decisions, based on data insights, and articulating them to the executive leadership.
  • You are quick and effective in hypothesis testing, bringing creative energy and structured thinking to problem solving.
  • You are energetic and hard-working, and a continuous learner, thriving in a dynamic environment and always striving for excellence.
  • You are eager to “make it happen” and have a hands-on mentality. You’re resourceful and creative and can solve challenging problems independently
  • You have excellent English communication skills and excel at storytelling, analyzing and communicating complex topics clearly and concisely across all organizational levels
  • You’re curious and proactive in exploring how AI tools can streamline workflows, boost productivity, and improve decision-making in your daily work.
  • Experience in B2B product management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of fintech ecosystem is a plus.
