We were founded in 2009 by Max Lytvyn, Alex Shevchenko, and Dmytro Lider, and are now part of Superhuman. We provide personalized AI guidance and text generation to individuals and organizations, helping them communicate clearly and effectively.

Initially, we offered a subscription for students focused on grammar and spelling. We later expanded our capabilities with advancements in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP).

Our products include Grammarly Business, Premium, Free, for Education, Pro, and Enterprise. These integrate across over 1 million applications and websites, offering writing suggestions, text generation, tone adjustments, grammar and spelling correction, sentence rewriting, and brand style adherence. Grammarly Enterprise adds features like confidential mode, granular roles and permissions, and data loss prevention.

We serve over 40 million people and 50,000 organizations, including users at 96% of the Fortune 500. We do not sell or monetize user content, use it for advertising, or allow third-party service providers to train models on it. We have over 15 years of experience building secure, private, and responsible AI. Compensation is market-based, with location-based base pay and On-Target Earnings (OTE) ranges. For Germany-based employees, benefits include mental health and risk benefits (life care), and relocation support like visa assistance, destination services, and a relocation bonus.
