Your mission
The BTS Custody team is vital for Bitpanda’s mission to make access to digital assets and create the most intuitive, powerful trading platform in Europe. As an Associate iOS Developer at Bitpanda, you will work on the development of our native iOS app. Alongside hands-on feature development, you will work on new tools, techniques and take care of the whole application lifecycle.
Our team is responsible for crafting the complete custody ecosystem that powers Bitpanda’s core functionalities as a custodian, including crypto in/out flows, approval and security checks (deposits with several providers including Apple Pay, bank withdrawals, crypto send, to name a few), staying up to date with the latest regulations to protect our users like Travel Rule, and providing a seamless integration with our DeFi Wallet.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced features for the iOS platform, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a smooth, user-centric trading experience.
- Ensure code quality through extensive testing to meet functional requirements and uphold our quality standards.
- Own and enhance your area of the app by addressing bugs, monitoring and optimizing performance, and implementing improvements to app functionalities.
- Stay updated on development trends, integrating new techniques and tools to continuously refine the app.
Who You Are
- Passionate about mobile platforms and skilled at translating complex requirements into a streamlined, user-friendly trading experience.
- Proficient in Swift with knowledge of iOS best practices, nice to have: software architecture patterns, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
- Knowledge with building, testing, and refining mobile applications, with a proven track record.
- UI/UX & design orientation
- Takes ownership of your work, proactively enhancing and adding value beyond initial requirements.
