We are looking for

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Account Payables Intern (m/w/d) , who desires to contribute to the growth and success of our Accounting and Administration Team.

Your role in BizAway

• Invoice Management: Efficiently record and process incoming domestic and international invoices, ensuring accurate VAT treatment and cost allocation.

• Payment Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of payments against bank statements and supplier ledgers to ensure all transactions are accurately cleared.

• Vendor Relations & Master Data: Maintain and update the supplier master database while managing professional correspondence to resolve queries and payment status requests.

• Statement Auditing: Conduct thorough checks of monthly statements received from providers to identify discrepancies, missing invoices, or balance mismatches.

• Process Innovation: Actively participate in the implementation and testing of new accounting software and digital tools to streamline department workflows.

Your basic qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting is required.

• Accounting Knowledge: A strong academic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.

• Languages: English: Professional proficiency is mandatory (the primary working language). Italian: A strong plus (useful for local compliance and vendor relations).

• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel. You should be comfortable using functions such as XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic logical formulas.

• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, a proactive “can-do” attitude, and the ability to handle confidential data with integrity.
