Job description
We are seeking a hands-on Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Manager with specialized experience in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). This role requires a doer/manager—someone ready to oversee the full RCM process while actively contributing to day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the end-to-end RCM cycle, including billing, coding, and prior authorization for EMS/EMT services.
Lead and support a small team of billers, coders, and prior authorization specialists.
Monitor and improve RCM workflows to ensure timely claims submission, accurate coding, and efficient payment collection.
Resolve complex RCM issues, denials, and appeals with payers.
Track key performance metrics, generate reports, and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with leadership to align RCM operations with compliance standards and organizational goals.
2–3+ years of RCM experience, with specific exposure to EMS/EMT billing and coding.
Strong knowledge of billing, coding, and prior authorization processes.
Leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring team members.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external payers.
Amenable to work remotely during U.S. business working hours.
