Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer with around 20 years of expertise in HVAC design for commercial buildings. The ideal candidate has a solid background working in an MEP engineering office, collaborating closely with architectural clients, and delivering high-quality, efficient mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for commercial building projects.
Apply deep knowledge of hydronic systems, including chilled water, hot water, and steam.
Integrate building automation systems to ensure energy efficiency and performance.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project goals.
Review and validate mechanical design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Support projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
Registered Mechanical Engineer
At least 20 years of HVAC design experience, preferably in an MEP engineering firm.
Strong expertise in hydronic systems (chilled water, hot water, steam).
Knowledge and hands-on experience with building automation systems.
Commercial building project experience required; healthcare/hospital project experience is a strong plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Amenable to work remotely during U.S. business working hours.
Work-from-home requirement:

Internet: Wired connection with a minimum 50 Mbps download speed, plus a backup connection (e.g., mobile hotspot or prepaid Wi-Fi)
