Job Description
As a Hardware Series Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful series production of innovative hardware solutions for the automotive industry. Working closely with customers and international, cross-functional teams, you will drive projects from change request to implementation, with a strong focus on quality, cost, and delivery.
Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating closely with plant, customer, and hardware development teams
- Collaborating with international, cross-functional stakeholders such as sales, manufacturing, quality, technical purchasing, and controlling
- Aligning and agreeing on change project targets with customer teams
- Reporting project status, risks, and progress regularly to management
- Planning and steering hardware-related project activities, including cost tracking and task management
- Defining, releasing, and implementing hardware changes to support cost optimization and supply chain stability
- Applying project management methods such as quality, change, and risk management to ensure project success
Qualifications
What distinguishes you?
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
Experience
- Proven experience in managing technical or hardware-related projects, ideally in the automotive industry or a similar environment
Know-how
- Solid technical understanding and strong motivation to solve complex technical challenges
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
Languages
- Good command of English; additional languages are a plus
Working Style and Methods
- Structured, target-oriented, and quality-focused working approach
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities

- Strong communication and presentation skills
