Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Family Law Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our award-winning Family Law team. As a Family Law Legal Secretary/Paralegal, you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients and contributing to our continued success.
Responsibilities
Prepare, format, and file family law legal documents and pleadings
Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and calendaring deadlines
Communicate with clients regarding case matters and updates
Handle administrative duties as needed, including answering phones and filing
Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
Minimum of 5 years of recent secretarial and/or paralegal experience in Family Law required
Knowledge of California family court filing procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and other word processing software
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, reliable team player with a professional personality
Paralegal certification is a plus
This is a hybrid paralegal/secretary position and will not require billing as a paralegal

The expected base salary range is $70,000- $100,000, depending upon experience.
