Job Description

bwise Media is a global digital media agency focused on monetizing sports websites and apps. We pride ourselves on managing advertising sales for sports betting operators and collaborate with some of the world’s most popular sports portals.

We are looking for a driven and ambitious Sales Manager (Native Russian Speaker) to join our team in Vienna. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our presence within Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking markets, focusing on client acquisition and long-term partnership development in the iGaming sector.

While prior sales experience is a plus, it is not our main priority. What matters most is that you understand how digital advertising works - concepts such as CPM, traffic sources, media buying, and campaign optimization. Sales techniques can be learned, a solid understanding of the industry is key.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new clients within Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking markets.

  • Execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

  • Present and sell digital advertising solutions tailored to client needs.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value deals.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking meetings (online & offline).

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful campaign execution.

  • A strong understanding of digital advertising fundamentals (CPM, CPC, CPA, traffic types, media buying, etc.) is mandatory.

  • Experience as sales/marketing manager, or similar role within the iGaming or betting sector, is a plus.

  • A strong enthusiasm for learning, coupled with a dedication to ongoing improvement and keeping up with industry trends.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to meet clients and attend events.

  • Native-level proficiency in Russian and a very good command of English (spoken and written).

  • Based in Vienna, Austria - ideally with an Austrian work permit.

The annual gross fixed salary for this position ranges between EUR 35.000,- and EUR 42.000,- (based on 38.5 hours per week), depending on your skills and experience. We’re happy to go through the details with you during our interviews.
