Job Description
CEDA is looking for a Travel Coordinator to join our team. As the Travel Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the day-to-day operations of a centralized corporate travel program.
Reporting to the Director, HR Services this role will work closely with various divisions within CEDA, and coordinate corporate travel for CEDA personnel, ensuring alignment with the Travel Policy.
This position can be based out of our Calgary office and will be eligible for our hybrid office & work from home model.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Arrange and coordinate all business travel and accommodation booking requests
- Problem solve challenges such as travel emergencies, delays and last minute changes
- Develop, administer and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Monitor administration and performance of all travel related contracts
- Work with the Travel Management Company in negotiations with suppliers
- Developing KPI’s and opportunities for individual traveler improvements and cost effective solutions
- Assisting finance with monthly travel cost reconciliation
- Other duties as assigned
Role Specifications
- 3–5 years of travel agent experience in both agency and corporate settings across multiple industries
- A diploma or certificate in Travel, Business, Finance, or related field is an asset
- Experience in the travel industry, including familiarity with the Sabre system, is an asset
- Ability to compile and analyze monthly travel data is required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills to analyze data
Skills
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work within a deadline-oriented environment
- Prior knowledge of travel logistics and travel booking platforms
- Detail oriented – you pay attention to the small things
- Excited by change, shifting priorities and problem solving
- Strong communication skills coupled with a customer service focus
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and adjust schedules during peak travel periods
- Strong analytical skills
