Are you looking for an exciting Product Management opportunity in one of the fastest-growing SaaS scale-ups in the Netherlands? Then look no further! Our product team is looking for a Product Manager to manage one of the most valuable areas of Channable: our API importers, like Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento, which play a crucial role in our order connections.

Your job:

As the Product Manager for importers & orders, you are responsible for a key value stream within the Marketplaces domain. On the importers side, this means setting up new and existing clients for success with Channable by optimizing the process around importers like Shopify. On the orders side, it means enabling these sellers to scale their business to a wide variety of sales channels, all from within Channable.

You will ensure these import connections work flawlessly, both technically and in terms of user experience. You’ll also need to understand how big platforms like Shopify and Magento are evolving and what that means for our solution and our sellers. And who knows what other connections are relevant in just a few months from now… It’s a fast-changing time in e-commerce!

You will be responsible for tying both ends of the flow that our customers’ products go through together.  From importing them into Channable, to ingesting orders, to then shipping them. It’s a role that’s very central to not just our domain, but the whole of Channable, since success with Channable starts at the very first import.

Your team:

You will manage the product strategy for our engineering team that handles both order connections and importers. With that team, you will be part of the Marketplaces group that includes two other Product Managers and one Product Lead. You will have the opportunity to work closely with them as well.

On a higher level, together with the rest of the Marketplaces domain, you will execute on our Marketplace strategy, making it as easy and frictionless as possible to integrate existing sales channels like Shopify with increasingly complex ecosystems like Amazon and Mirakl. We are a dedicated team and we enjoy challenging each other, exchanging ideas, and, most importantly, getting things done.

Requirements

Your challenges:

  • Translate customer and platform insights into actionable product strategies and well-defined requirements.

  • Proactively identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within your product domain.

  • Lead the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to post-launch analysis.

  • Write clear and concise product specifications and collaborate with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure features are implemented effectively.

  • Foster a collaborative environment that empowers the team and aligns their work with broader business objectives.

Who are you?

  • You have at least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in a B2B SaaS company.

  • Familiarity with solving technical problems that strengthen customer-facing features.

  • A proven track record of bringing solutions from 0-1 and iterating based on feedback.

  • Demonstrable experience with product discovery, design, and delivery activities.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and anticipate future opportunities and challenges.

  • Experience working in an e-commerce platform company or in a company within the e-commerce industry is a strong plus.

  • Experience working with 3rd party integrations and APIs is a strong plus.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • You are available for at least 32 hours per week.

  • You live in the Netherlands or are willing to relocate, and have a valid work permit (if you’re a non-EU citizen).

What do we offer?

  • Gross monthly salary ranging from € 3.500 to € 5.000 based on a 40-hour work week. The salary is determined based on your experience.

  • 8% holiday allowance - 8% of your yearly salary, which is paid together with your May salary.

  • Stock Appreciation Rights: eligible employees can financially profit from Channable’s success.

  • Annual L&D budget of €1000 to spend on anything you want to learn. You can take full advantage of this to grow professionally.

  • Saving for old age - we have a savings scheme for old age, which can accrue up to 5% of your monthly salary.

  • Company-wide performance bonus, up to 10% of your annual salary, determined yearly by our founders based on financial planning and targets

  • Traveling to our office? No problem, we got you covered (NS Business Card, or €0,23 per km if you decide to use a different means of transport).

  • To work in a beautiful historic and fully renovated office in the heart of Utrecht & with a flexible hybrid working policy of (minimum 2 days in the office).

  • Since you can work from home for 3 days a week, we will provide home office supplies.

  • Having flexible working hours means starting your day between 8.00–10.00 am.

  • 26 vacation days + 2 reload days based on 40 hours.

  • We offer a 3-week-long workcation; and an additional 3 weeks, if you live as an expat in the Netherlands!

  • Are you going to become a parent? We think it is important that you spend time with your newborn. Enjoy 5 weeks of 100% paid partner leave.
