About the role

As part of our expanding global proposal management team, we are seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to join our Americas function. Based in Mexico City, this role will primarily support commercial proposals across the Americas, with the opportunity to contribute to complex or strategic bids in other regions occasionally.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on proposal manager who thrives on delivering high-quality, compliant, and compelling responses, whether that means juggling a high volume of proposals or managing a large, complex submission with many contributors. We are also looking for someone who is excited to help refine, scale, and continuously improve processes within our team.

You will work closely with sales, solution engineering, product, legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure each response meets customer needs, aligns to business strategy, and is delivered with clarity and impact. Success in this role requires independent drive, excellent project management skills, and the ability to flex between structured project execution and providing consultative guidance depending on the situation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end development of RFx responses (RFPs, RFIs, vendor questionnaires, etc.), ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery
  • Partner with Sales and other stakeholders to scope requests, confirm requirements, and set clear plans for delivery
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with Sales teams, flexing between project manager and consultant roles depending on support needs
  • Drive proposal schedules, track inputs, and hold contributors accountable to deadlines
  • Draft, edit, and tailor proposal content by synthesizing SME input into clear, compelling narratives
  • Manage multiple opportunities at different stages of the proposal cycle, ensuring steady progress with minimal oversight
  • Apply judgment to determine when full-service project management is needed versus when to provide supplemental or consultative support
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior proposal team members, sharing best practices and elevating overall team capability
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by refining templates, updating knowledge libraries, and sharing best practices
  • Participate in lessons learned reviews and feedback to enhance future responses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6-8+ years of experience managing RFx responses
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines independently
  • Experience applying proposal best practices (Shipley, APMP, or equivalent), including compliance reviews, win theme integration, and structured response management
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, especially with Sales teams; able to influence, educate, and support without formal authority
  • Proficiency in English required
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development abilities
  • Self-driven, comfortable operating in a lean, distributed, and sometimes high-volume environment
  • Familiarity with RFP software (Responsive/RFPIO, Loopio, etc.) and productivity tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
